Life has been extremely busy these past few months.
Master and slave have been shrimping to fill the freezer while the shrimp were in the river.
Master and this slave built a chicken coop and now have fresh eggs every morning and eight chickens to feed. Master got His handyman license so He could start making money doing His own thing, with slave as a helper....
Then, Master got a call in the wee morning hours that His father was in the hospital and it wasn't looking good. It was a surprise because W/we had shrimped with His father two days before and he had been the same as he always was. So W/we drove up there and arrived in enough time for Master to help His stepmother make the hard decision.
The doctors had done everything possible and the only option left was to let him go.
Everyone was shocked, it was such a sudden and violent way for him to go that it was surreal.
The next week was hectic and a mix of family in all stages of shock, disbelief or sadness... and the next few months were not much better.
Masters mother became ill two weeks after His father passed so, W/we drove out of state to her until she was stable.
Master inherited His fathers commercial fishing license so He plans to do that as well.

Things have been a crazy mess! Like 2011 realized it had forgotten a bunch of stuff and dumped it all at once.
This is mostly to update everyone and also say that this slave is not going anywhere. she just has been so busy that its hard to find time to eat and shower let alone play on the computer. Hopefully soon life calms a little and things can resume the usual level of crazy *grin*.
Also the first collar that Master allowed this slave to wear has finally bitten the dust *sniffle* this slave has been given permission to put it up in a safe place, thank you Master.
